Welcome to Jonathan Club in Malibu, California, where we recently completed a stunning commercial decking project. The focal point of this project is a network of inviting pathways constructed using durable 5/4×6 ipe wood. Over the course of just one week, our skilled team transformed the landscape, overcoming challenges such as the meticulous removal of sand to achieve a seamless finish.
Understanding the unique requirements of the location, we opted for ipe, ensuring a surface that doesn’t splinter or get hot on the touch, making it ideal for a barefoot experience. Moreover, given the coastal setting with salt-laden air, ipe not only stands up well to such conditions but also adds a touch of sophistication, providing a rich aesthetic that complements the surroundings.
